It’s no secret that weddings this year are going to be a liiiiittle different than usual. Jenny and Nate’s intimate summer wedding in Iowa marked my first one of 2020, and I had a mask on the whole time! Even though it’s not exactly what Nate and Jenny planned, it was so so beautiful. I feel so lucky I was able to spend the day with them celebrating their love for each other. I was nervous all week because on my weather app it was all storms, storms, storms. Then surprise! It held off ALL day and only sprinkled for like 2 minutes right after we were done taking photos. Talk about good luck!
The day began by getting ready with their loved ones at The Merrill which is a suuuper gorgeous hotel right on the river in Muscatine!! From there we ventured to their house to take photos with their lil doggies who dressed up for the occasion and looked SO dapper! Then after taking a whole bunch of photos we took off for the church. Right when we started doing a mini rehearsal, and Jenny was making her way down the aisle, a child pulled the fire alarm! So that was definitely something to make the day unforgettable LOL anywaaaays I absolutely love these guys. They were literal models on their wedding day and I wish them all the happiness in the world! Intimate summer wedding in iowa
p.s. the need for smaller more intimate backyard ceremonies means the opportunity for more fur babies to attend so it’s not all bad, right?
